WHEN TO GO?

July and August

The peak season, during the months of July and August, brings the best weather. Posedarje, along with many other spots on the Dalmatian coastline, sees plenty of sunshine during this time.

It should be noted that the region has prices at their highest during these months, and Posedarje is at its busiest.

May – June and September

The shoulder season is a great time to visit Posedarje. This is because the sea is warm enough to swim in, as most locals do. There are also fewer crowds, and the prices are generally lower Croatia-wide.

October – April

Those travelling to Croatia during the low season will experience much cooler weather but still an enjoyable Mediterranean climate.

Prices are at their lowest, and you can even experience snow just an hour drive inland. If you wish to take the ferry, remember that islands tend to limit their ferry schedule due to strong winds.
